2-Day Intro to Sign Painting for Beginners Workshop (14 hours) Saturday and Sunday August 30 - 31, 2025 @ $300.00
For the absolute beginner or anyone interested in exploring the craft of sign painting!
This class has been specifically created to walk students through the general process of creating a hand painted sign from scratch. Students will paint their own sign using a provided design by the instructor and will learn about the tools necessary to complete the project.
No drawing is required for this class, which allows for more time on the brush.
All materials provided. 7 hours each day including lunch (not provided).
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Perfect for absolute beginners or anyone curious about the timeless craft of sign painting, this hands-on class guides participants step-by-step through creating a hand-painted sign from start to finish. Using a pre-designed layout provided by the instructor, students will learn essential techniques and gain confidence with the tools and materials needed for the project. By the end of the workshop, each participant will take home their own completed sign—along with the skills to continue exploring this classic art form.

8-Week Sign Painting Course Workshop (64+ hours) EVERY TUESDAY October 7, 2025 - November 25, 2025 @ $1,200.00
8 classes once a week, every Tuesday 8am- 4pm PST
Learn the basics of the brush, the rules to lettering & layout, multiple alphabets, effects like convex/beveled letters, blending, faux marble, and much more. Students will build their skills each week and will complete the course with their own custom hand painted sign using all the skills acquired.
Some homework will be assigned throughout the week
All materials will be provided for the class.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Students will build a strong foundation in brush control, lettering principles, and layout design while exploring a variety of alphabet styles. Throughout the workshop, they’ll learn decorative techniques such as convex and beveled lettering, color blending, faux marble, and more. Skills will progress week by week, culminating in the creation of a custom, hand-painted sign that showcases each student’s personal style and new abilities. Some homework will be assigned, and all materials are provided.
Our workshops equip students with the skills to design and produce a wide range of signs for advertising, business branding, public services, entertainment, and more. Through hands-on projects, participants create both temporary signage—such as posters and paper banners—and permanent works on materials like wood, metal, canvas, vehicles, windows, and walls.
