For the absolute beginner or anyone interested in exploring the craft of sign painting!
This class has been specifically created to walk students through the general process of creating a hand painted sign from scratch.
Students will paint their own sign using a provided design by the instructor and will learn about the tools necessary to complete the project.
No drawing is required for this class, which allows for more time on the brush.
All materials provided. 7 hrs each day including lunch (not provided).

An intensive 3-days of hands on lettering and layout with pencil and eraser only!
No painting will be done in this class.
Students will learn the rules of basic lettering and advance into drawing multiple alphabets by the end of the third day. We will also focus on layout each day and how to design an effective sign with skillful lettering.

Learn the fundamentals of sign painting and rules to lettering and layout.
Each week, students will build their skills starting from the absolute basics of drawing letterforms, to creating a custom, hand-painted sign.
Homework will be assigned throughout the week to assist in understanding the lessons taught during the class.
No prior experience required.
All materials for the class included.
Lunch 11:30am-Noon.

I will have a handful of designs to choose from and will go over many different techniques for creating a faux antique sign. This class is a lot of fun and very forgiving if you are worried about your skill level. No drawing or prior skills necessary.
For beginners to advanced, 9am-1pm in person.

The instructor will go over application, materials & where to purchase them, plus different effects for the gold and after care. Everything you need to know to get started gilding on just about any surface!
